Defibrillators

There are three defibrillators located in the parish. First in the telephone box opposite the village hall, second in the Entrance of the Milton House and an additional one on the pumping station off Lyde Road between A359 and Primrose Lane.

Defibrillator Map

Locations of defibrillators

This map shows the locations of defibrillator units within the council area to help residents understand their distribution. It also shows locations submitted by other local councils to build up a national map.

Please note, this map is not definitive and may contain errors. It should not be used for emergency purposes.

In case of emergency, dial 999.

Although the last one does not belong to the Parish Council it is closest to the residents at the top of Primrose Lane. Whist the Telephone box is obvious the locations of the other two are less so. This is particularly true for Milton House, where it is out of sight from the road, being tucked around the corner at the main entrance. The locations of the defibrillators are (what-3-words):

  •       Telephone box           ”Anyone.Having.Equity”
  •       Milton House             “Porridge.Directly.Pans”
  •       Lyde Rd Pumping Stn    ”Shave.Socialite.Headed”

The first two defibrillators are maintained by Mudford Parish Council and subject to weekly checks. They are registered on THE CIRCUIT, who maintain a list of all serviceable units within the UK that are registered. This is used by the emergency services to guide the caller to the nearest unit. Furthermore, they provide the caller with the assess code for any locked boxes, where required. The Parish defibrillators have a second set of Pads specifically for use on children, where a lower level of shock is applied.

Time is important

Mudford Parish Council encourages all residents to familiarise themselves with these locations. Please watch the training film (shown below), which is only 10 minutes long.
