BUDGET STATEMENT 2026-2027
MUDFORD PARISH COUNCIL’S BUDGET - FINANCIAL YEAR 2026-2027
Welcome to the official Mudford Parish Council website where you will find information about the parish council and its councillors, meetings and links to groups and businesses in the village. Mudford Parish Council is responsible for managing and maintaining key community facilities including the Recreation Ground, which features a playground, skate park, and outdoor gym. The Council also oversees two defibrillators, two speed activated devices to help control traffic speed, and the local cemetery. The parish is served by seven councillors and one part-time clerk. Councillors play a vital role in representing the interests of residents, making decisions on local services, and ensuring the well-being of the community. The Council meets monthly, usually on the last Thursday of each month at 7 pm, except in December. The agreed meeting dates for 2025–2026 are: 26th June 2025; 31st July 2025; 28th August 2025; 25th September 2025; 30th October 2025; 27th November 2025; No meeting in December; 15th January 2026; 26th February 2026; 26th March 2026; 30th April 2026; 28th May 2026. Members of the Public and Press are invited to attend all Council Meetings.

The works are expected to commence on 19th January 2026 and last for 5 days to enable Wessex Water to carry out new connection works.
