Mudford Community Assembly – Outcomes Summary

Mudford Parish Council held a Community Assembly in March 2026, attended by 20 residents. The outcomes of this Assembly were presented at the Annual Parish Meeting on 30th April 2026. The purpose of the Assembly was to identify the main priorities for the community and explore how the Parish Council and residents can work together to address them.

The discussions highlighted several key priorities for Mudford, with flooding, traffic and road safety, and housing development emerging as the top concerns. Other important issues included pollution, environmental protection, village hall facilities and amenities, and policing. Residents shared experiences and practical suggestions, which were brought together into a series of draft action plans for these priority areas.

The next step is a parish-wide community survey, based on the outcomes of the Community Assembly. The survey will be delivered to all households in early June and will be available online, on paper, and through assisted completion where needed. The results will help ensure that the views of the wider community are captured and will inform the development of Mudford’s Parish Community Plan.

The presentation of outcomes can be dowloaded below.
